Restoration of Historic Bowling Alley
and installation of A/C in 
Community Center Recreation Room

In 2019, the Village, together with the BVPF, held a grand opening of the newly renovated activity room and antique bowling alley in the basement of the Village Community Center. It has been met with great enthusiasm from all the residents and remains a highly sought-after area for resident enjoyment year-round, as well as the Village Kids Camp during the summer.

 

One of the most significant issues that arose early on was the lack of heat and A/C in the space. The heat issue was resolved, but the lack of A/C remained a pressing issue, even in the winter. In reaction to this, the BVPF raised funds in 2020 to install new A/C equipment in the bowling alley. Work was completed in late 2023 with the installation of a ducted system with two Trane 3.5-ton condensing units outside the building.
